through art, music, words, dance and shared knowledge.

Let’s get this party started!

The Goddess Festival gets underway this week! Monday night, March 1st at 7pm, join us at the Starlight Skatium on College in Fayetteville for a fun fundraising time. For $8 you not only get to have a good time, but you support the Festival’s activities. Even if you don’t know how to skate (like the person typing this) you can still have a blast and hang out with friends.

On Thursday, March 4 at 5pm, come to the Festival grounds at One East Center Street in Fayetteville (the East Square Building where the Bank used to be) for our Art Show opening and reception. In conjunction with Fayetteville’s First Thursdays Gallery Walk, we are delighted to open the 2010 Goddess Festival Art Gallery with a reception for the many artists who have participated in this remarkable and inspiring show. Everyone is invited to attend. Enjoy the reception, the art and the piano stylings of Claire Detels, and get the Festival underway the right way.

Friday night at 7pm is the Women’s Songwriter Circle. Women singer songwriters Tiffany Christopher, Jori Costello, Darlene, Emily Kaitz, and Candy Lee come together to share their stories and passion for performing. Women, music, harmony with the vibrations of mother earth, performing their songs in turn, and backing one another up … No one walks this journey alone, I’ve got your back, Sister. Concert Admission is only $5.

Saturday and Sunday are loaded with workshops, drumming and dancing, so check out our Calendar for a full listing. http://www.goddessfestival.com/dates.htm

The time has come, so spread the word, bring your friends and family and celebrate with us!
