Monday: 6:30 – 8:00 pm – Singing in Sacred Circle
Presented by Cynthia Huelsmann. There are many chants that relate to the Divine Feminine, the Goddess in her many forms, and to her place in the web of life. The repetitive singing of simple chants allows an opening and connection to spirit that we often miss in our busy modern lives. Location: Open Floor.
Presenter Info: I have been chanting for over 30 years. I have attended many workshops and conferences including singing with Kay Gardner at Michfest for many years and with Woman with Wings both in Michigan and Bangor, Maine since Kay’s passing in 2002. I have also attended workshops and sang with Starhawk, Ruth Barrett, Judy Piazza, Robert Gass, and Margot Adler. I have led several singing Circles at the Midwest Wimmins Music Fest, the Spinsterhaven spring gathering, and last year’s Goddess Festival. Last year’s workshop led to an ongoing singing circle in Fayetteville, and the group will be part of this circle.
