Tonight’s Spring Equinox Ritual will be held in the beautiful main room of the Fayetteville Senior Activity Center, 945 S. College Ave.
(same street as the park’s main entrance).

You are invited to bring a cup of dirt from your garden or yard. We will mix all the dirt together and return a cup to you – - our intention is to build community from the ground up!

There are some key events/programs that are going to be a bit difficult to manage.

We sure could use some dedicated helpers for specific tasks:

1. Parking Attendant – getting folks into designated spaces, perhaps even developing a valet system

2. Pot Luck Crew – getting dishes out, putting dishes away

3. Set-up Team – putting chairs out when we need them

An Invitation to Our Local Artists

This year, due to considerations of space and time, we will be hosting a very different kind of art show.

On Friday, March 23^rd, you are invited to bring a piece of your art that you feel best expresses the Feminine Divine in visual form.

Each of you will have a turn to display your work on an easel or table at the front of the room, speak about how and why you created it and what it means to you.

There will be a Wine & Cheese/Meet & Greet the Artists reception at 6:PM, followed at 7:PM by the showing and sharing of art. Afterwards there will be time for the audience and artists to have a lively discussion.

Budhi Kling, artist and art therapist, will make introductions and be the evening’s moderator.

You are welcome to take part spontaneously, but we would appreciate you letting us know if you plan to participate. Please go to the ‘contact us’ page on the website to reply.

An Invitation to Musicians, Singers, Songwriters and Entertainers

On Wednesday, March 21^st, you are invited to participate in a musical celebration of the Feminine Divine.

Each of you will have a turn to perform your music, followed by an open jam session.

Donna Stjerna of Still on the Hill will make introductions and host the evening.

2012 Goddess Festival

The remaining members of the Producers Circle of the Goddess Festival are altering the format for the 2012 event. Though the past three years were grand and festive celebrations, we lack the energies and resources for a month-long Festival this year. Rather than letting the Festival go completely, we have agreed to put on a 10 day event which would be much less structured and more spontaneous, as well as less work and more fun for the organizers. We trust that this particular incarnation of the Goddess Festival will bring us all together in celebration. We hope you will join us in the co-creation of this event.

Facebook and Twitter Connect, submissions and more

The Goddess Festival website now has Facebook and Twitter connectivity, which means you can register for our site using your Facebook or Twitter account. You would need to be registered if you comment on posts.

We need volunteers, for the festival itself and leading up to it! Visit the site to sign up. If you’re interested in posting flyers or otherwise working with the Publicity team, we have immediate use for you.
